SRI Wins Camp Atterbury CSBS Contract
SRI was awarded a three-year, $51.6M task order contract in support of Camp Atterbury, IN. This Task Order, under the CONUS Support Base Services (CSBS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract vehicle, supports Camp Atterbury’s requirements in all 12 of the CSBS task areas: Plans, Training, Mobilization, Security, Human Resources, Finance, Material Management and Supply, Services, Movements, Equipment Readiness and Maintenance, Billeting and Facilities, and Information Management.
Reserve Component Soldiers have historically resourced garrison staffs for mobilization and deployment purposes. As Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and later Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) have caused significant depletion of Reservists due to mobilization, deployment, re-deployment and demobilization cycles, Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) initiated the CONUS Support Base Services (CSBS) contract process to better sustain the total force by providing comprehensive installation support. Camp Atterbury serves as a Forces Command Mobilization Station and is the designated mobilization site for many units of the National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. In addition, the Indiana-based installation serves as a premier training site for both individuals and units from all branches of service for both Reserve and Active Duty training and other special training events.
SRI’s seamless four-day transition included interviewing 400 applicants and hiring, orientating and training 167 employees during a holiday week with contract start-up occurring simultaneously with a surge which involved mobilizing approximately 1,200 Soldiers and demobilizing 400 Soldiers.
